Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Cennaire platform. By accessing or using Cennaire, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Cennaire platform ("the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms in full.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Cennaire is a marketplace platform that connects clients seeking catering services with catering businesses ("Caterers"). Cennaire facilitates the introduction and booking process but is not a party to any service agreement between a Client and a Caterer. Cennaire does not employ Caterers, guarantee the quality of services, or take responsibility for the fulfilment of any catering contract.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at info@cennaire.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others, use another person's account, or create multiple accounts for the same individual or business.

4. Client Obligations

As a Client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete event information when posting requests.
  • Not post fraudulent, speculative, or fictitious requests.
  • Engage with Caterers in good faith.
  • Honour commitments made to Caterers under accepted bookings.
  • Pay Caterers directly per the terms agreed with them outside the platform.

5. Caterer Obligations

As a Caterer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your business, services, pricing, and capabilities.
  • Honour bookings that result from accepted quotes.
  • Maintain the standard of service described in your profile and packages.
  • Comply with all applicable food safety, licensing, and employment laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Not submit quotes for events you cannot fulfil.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Attempt to circumvent the platform by arranging bookings off-platform to avoid Caterer subscription fees.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Post false reviews or otherwise misrepresent services.
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
  • Attempt to access any part of the platform you are not authorised to access.
  • Use the messaging system to send unsolicited commercial messages or spam.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform without written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Cennaire brand, logo, and platform design are the property of Cennaire. You may not use them without express written consent.

By uploading content to the platform (photos, descriptions, reviews), you grant Cennaire a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Caterer Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method. Subscription terms are described in detail in our Pricing documentation.

Cennaire does not process payments between Clients and Caterers. All payment disputes related to catering services are between the parties directly.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cennaire is not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of any catering services provided through the platform.
  • Losses arising from a Caterer's cancellation, no-show, or failure to deliver.
  • Losses arising from a Client's failure to pay or cancel.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Cennaire's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Cennaire in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with another user, we encourage you to resolve it directly in the first instance. If you cannot reach resolution, contact us at info@cennaire.co.uk and we will do our best to assist.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
