What's Live Now

The current version of Cennaire includes:

  • Catering marketplace — public caterer directory with search, filters, and sorting
  • Professional quote builder — itemised line items, fees, live preview, PDF export, and shareable quote links
  • Quote request flow — clients post requests, caterers build quotes, client accepts → booking
  • Direct package booking — caterers can initiate a booking directly from their packages
  • Standalone quotes — send professional proposals to clients without a request
  • Draft quotes — save quotes as drafts and edit before sending
  • Caterer profiles — business info, photos (logo, cover, gallery), packages, reviews
  • Verified caterer badge — upload business documents, earn a trust badge after manual review
  • Reviews and ratings — verified reviews linked to completed bookings
  • In-app messaging — direct communication between clients and caterers, organised by event context
  • Calendar — visual month/week views showing bookings and quote deadlines
  • Client and caterer dashboards — request management, lead tracking, quote management, booking history
  • 8-step caterer onboarding — identity, photos, cuisines, bio, capacity, first package, verification, notifications
  • Menu management — packages and individual menu items, with "add from menu" in quote builder
  • Stripe subscription — Free and Premium tiers for caterers ($50/month, Stripe Checkout + Portal)
  • Analytics dashboard — 6 metrics for Premium caterers (revenue, win rate, pipeline, etc.)
  • Documentation — guides, FAQs, pricing, legal, and this roadmap
  • Dark mode — full dark/light theme support

These are actively in progress or next up on the build list:

SMS Notifications (Twilio)

Real-time SMS alerts for caterers when a new lead matches their profile, and for clients when a quote arrives. Opt-in from your notification settings.

Email Notifications (SendGrid)

Transactional emails for booking confirmations, quote received/accepted/expired events, and subscription billing reminders.

Performance Improvements

  • Page-level caching and incremental static regeneration for the browse page
  • loading.tsx skeleton screens for dashboard and browse
  • Image priority loading for above-the-fold caterer photos
  • Optimised middleware matcher to reduce unnecessary middleware runs
  • Additional database indexes for quote and booking queries

Features planned for later releases:

Google Calendar Sync

Two-way sync between your Cennaire calendar and Google Calendar. New bookings are automatically pushed to your Google Calendar, and your personal Google Calendar events appear alongside your Cennaire events on the dashboard — so you can see your full schedule in one place. Connect and disconnect from Settings with a single click.

Bulk Lead Management

A kanban-style view for caterers to manage multiple open requests simultaneously — move leads through stages, track quote status at a glance.

Mobile App

Native iOS and Android apps for managing bookings and leads on the go.

Annual Billing

An annual Premium subscription option at a discounted rate vs. monthly billing.

Review Responses

Allow caterers to publicly respond to client reviews.

Under Consideration

These ideas are being evaluated — not yet committed:

Instant Book

Allow clients to book fixed-price packages without going through the quote request flow. Ideal for caterers with standardised menus and pricing.

Split Payment for Corporate Events

Group billing functionality for corporate events with multiple stakeholders or cost centres.

Custom Subdomain Profiles

Caterers on Premium could opt into a yourbusiness.cennaire.com vanity URL for their public profile.

Promotional Tools

Ability for caterers to mark packages as discounted for specific date ranges — visible to clients in search.

Embeddable Quote Request Widget

A code snippet caterers can embed on their own website to funnel quote requests through Cennaire.

Gated Catering Menus

Menus viewable on the platform but requiring email/name to access — gives caterers warm leads automatically.

Not Planned

  • We have no plans to take a commission on bookings between clients and caterers.
  • We have no plans to process direct payments between clients and caterers in the near term.
